Owned and operated by American River Conservancy, Wakamatsu Farm is located on 272 picturesque acres just 50 miles east of Sacramento. Nestled among gently rolling hills of wildflowers, ponds, majestic oak trees, open pastures, and abundant wildlife, Wakamatsu Farm is a living work of art and the perfect place for your photographic moments.
Registered as California State Historic Landmark #815 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Wakamatsu Farm is the site of the first Japanese Colony in America established in 1869. With history dating back to California’s first people and the pioneer settlers of the Gold Rush, now Wakamatsu Farm can become part of your own special memories and lasting legacy.
