HUNTING

We often receive inquiries about permission to hunt on our lands. At this time, we do not permit hunting on any of our properties. Currently, we are working on the Phase 5 acquisition of El Dorado Ranch. When complete, this nearly 7,000-acre ranch will be transferred to the CDFW for management as a State Wildlife Area, and one of the permitted uses will be hunting. Throughout the years, we have also protected over 10,000 acres now managed by the BLM. Many of those BLM lands are now open for hunting and other recreational activities. Those BLM lands now include Cronan Ranch, Norton Ravine, Magnolia Ranch, and Kanaka Valley.
