Weber Creek in El Dorado County

The Conservancy is working with land owners on
donations of conservation easements to protect sensitive
riverfront lands along Weber Creek, an important
tributary to the South Fork American River.
California Newt

Projects that will restore local ecosystems to a more natural, healthier state are underway at various sites in El Dorado Hills and the Lotus/Coloma Valley. The Conservancy is also seeking volunteers to participate in a stream monitoring program on Weber Creek and its tributaries. Engaging community volunteers on these projects will also provide opportunities for children and adults to learn about their local environment.
